This colorized postcard dates from no later than 1925 based upon the postmark on the author's copy. This complex of structures is located on the foot of the island along the American channel. The lower structures by the water no longer exist.

This postcard was likely produced from a black and white photograph also shown in the photo gallery.While this image appears to be an aerial view, there is a cliff in the area it is taken from that most likely served as the vantage point for the original photograph.
