A more distant view of the presumed "Stone House" ruin from the shoreline which shows the vegetation now obscuring the view of the ruins from the river.

It was not uncommon for the shoreline in front of the old cottages to be given granite walls. Note that the rocks in the foreground would suggest a more natural water's edge was preferred by the owner.
